THAT'S WHY I CREATED THE 45 Day WELLNESS KICKSTARTER
Because I know firsthand the struggle of getting started (again).
I know the struggle of sticking with it once I got started (finally).
I know the satisfaction of seeing me show up for the commitments I have learned to make to myself.
I also know what it’s like to have done work on my inner world, to create a body-home of genuine self-love founded on authentic self-trust and radical self acceptance, to learn how to allow myself to be supported by community and cultural roots.
I know what it means to develop a wellness practice that allows me to tend to all the areas of my physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, environmental and relational health--in a way that feels balanced, and leans on the sensation of pleasure (present moment living, experiencing all the richness of the senses, allowing joy to find its way back in) --which is also **plot -twist** vital for health in a female nervous system and body system.
And I for damn sure am committed to cultivating a new relationship to fitness that allows for all my fullness to come forward, instead of perpetuating a sense of unworthiness, infinite incompletion, and never-ending goal posts moving for “progress”
And I also know that at the core of this journey, and at any moment where I get to begin again, it’s always rooted in these desires--which I think you & I share:

Hello there, my hunnay, I’m Bri Colón, and all of these desires above are exactly why I created the 45 Day Wellness Kickstarter.
I know these desires intimately-- and have turned over every 30-day crash diet, 2 week cleanse, and 75 Hard/soft/medium/over easy we got out there. What I know is that there’s magic in the first 45 days starting out — and those ups & downs we face in the first 45 days we face are not a sealed in fate for whether we can try again or start again if we stop or fail BUT if we can just make it those few weeks, we feel like we have real progress made. We can really feel like we can keep going because we have the wind at our back. The 45 Day kickstarter is one of my offerings here at (Be)coming—the place where both your being and becoming are seen and supported. I’ve been on a mission to make a home of this body I’m in, to help her not only survive but thrive in spite of everything that makes that hard to do as a woman, as a woman of color, and as a person who’s called to live on purpose and of service in the world. And I want the same for you. - I’ve walked this journey--from navigating weight fluctuations, mitigating the impacts of acute and chronic trauma and stress, uprooting the imprint of oppression on my sense of self, and learning real self-love. - From recovering from burnout and compassion fatigue, to knowing that if my health ain’t right, the goals, dreams and vision I have for myself don't have ground to stand on-- and frankly won’t last. OR they will come to be-- and cost me everything that’s worth living--surviving and thriving--for in the process. I’ve watched the impact of being fundamentally unsupported on the women in my lineage and lifetime: I’ve watched them fight to be seen in their health-- yet and still making their roles and responsibilities work--and lay their health to the side to support everyone and everything else around them. - And so, I made a decision: I decided responsibilities wouldn’t run the show anymore. I could love the people. projects and purpose I am called to--and show up to steward these connections and experiences faithfully. AND that didn’t mean that I was meant to or had to lose all of me--and who I’ve been divinely created to be--in the process. - This is work is where my decision meets my day-to-day purpose work: I support the women around me to decide to put yourself first--to make “you first” commitments. - To break generational patterns of overwork, shame-filled ways of viewing our bodies, and centuries old lies about our worth being tied to our work, making our wellbeing we have to earn our way into. - I want a new story for my sisters, and our daughters, and for our mamas, aunties, and frens who are very much alive and still able to experience wellness that allows for our wholeness, fitness that allows for our fullness. - I want this for ourselves AND SO THAT we can keep showing up for the people, projects, and callings we do dearly love. And maybe find a way to do fitness that gives us a bit more true safety, peace and enjoyment in life. - In my journey of cultivating a wellness practice that can adapt and change, grow and expand with me as I grow as a woman I have learned so much about how to walk out--and how to help you, too--walk out a wellness practice now only helps your survival, but thriving too. - I know what it looks and feels like to love being in my body, to learn to love the ways in which all my grown curves are beautiful, and to also dance with the honest cues my body gives me to let me know when things are out of balance (pain, acute or chronic symptoms)--to love all of me not only means accepting me at every size, and not resenting this body for protecting me and keeping me alive. - BUT ALSO to find ways to listen to those cues, to support my health now, to move through recovery mode from injuries or stressful periods, and to live again --in a fuller, more aligned, more sustainable way. To do wellness in a way that will helps me prevent other health issues or be better equipped to handle elements of health from here on out – from fertility, diagnoses and whatever else life throws at me down the line. And I want to have some freaking fun while walking out this journey and reaching my next levels of wellness goals, income and impact – I don’t want my wellness to feel like a chore. I want to trust that I have my own back and am able to follow through on the promises I make to myself. And I want it to become a part of the way I live everyday so that whatever I choose to do, however I choose to spend my time, whoever I desire to connect with get the main focus – and my fitness serves as a catalyst to feel powerful, sexy, and fulfilled, not leave me feeling drained, insecure, or frustrated and fearful. - As a woman of color I know how my identity is beautifully dynamic, and I know the ways the world sees my body means that I have to fight to be seen heard and supported, especially when it comes to my health and wellness. - I know that the world is threatened by our beauty, and makes it our burden to show up and fight for our wellbeing in spite of everything. - As a coach, I speak from lived experience, ancestral wisdom, and intuitive knowing (and proper training) to see you and your wellbeing as a big interlocking system--what is in harmonious balance (and what’s getting in the way of harmonious balance). By way of my training, I can advise you on right sized approaches to your exercise routine, nutrition questions, how to mitigate and manage stress, hydrate yourself, build rituals and rhythms that support your rest, hydration, and connection. - with my background in trauma informed work and racial justice advocacy, I see both the grave costs of what happens when we don’t get the care we need and leave our health on the “nice to have” list. Witnessing these costs for myself and the women around me, this work – this 90 Day challenge--is one single expression of my heart for healing justice. In this space, we gather knowing that when we (re)claim and cultivate wellness practices that allow us to finally exhale --our ancestors, our sisters, our own hearts, souls & bodies sing – in the feeling of being seen, heard, held and cheered on for no one else’s sake but our own as we move towards our wellness goals.
